Thank You for Your Support!

Gifts are tax-deductible because Redemption Seminary is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. You can support Redemption Seminary in many ways from direct giving to funding retirement income from planned giving such as a tax-advantaged annuity.

Direct Giving

Credit Card

The easiest way to give is by credit card. We are happy to process donations using Paypal for your convenience. Please consider supporting Redemption for a year or two with an automatic monthly donation. The seminary, students, and the people they minister to thank you for making low-cost debt-free quality education possible for the people laboring in their local settings.

Check

Please make checks payable to Redemption Seminary, and send them to the address of our administrative office.

Redemption Seminary

To ensure your gift is attributed to your desired tax year, the gift date of a donation made by check is the date postmarked on the envelope by the post office (not the date we receive it in the office). When hand-delivered, the gift date of a donation made by check is the date when the check is physically delivered to the institution.

Wire Funds Directly

Please let us know if you would like wiring instructions. We can email you the transit number details.

Planned and Non-Cash Giving

Please let us know if you would like to be contacted or discuss your gift or giving plan. Since education has generational effects, we do ask our donors to prayerfully consider Redemption Seminary as part of their estate planning. Often it is helpful to schedule a conversation to discuss such a matter.

Funding Retirement Income through an Annuity or Trust

There are several Christian financial advisors available who can provide guidance (free) and services (fee worked into the plan) for how you can manage your funds to:

  • Reduce your tax liability

  • Support the kingdom through Redemption Seminary

  • Receive income from the annuity.

Typically this is done through an annuity or trust. Trusts can be constructed to contain companies, investments, income-producing assets, and investments. This enables the donor to keep the income-producing asset working in their retirement (and receive income) without being taxed for the asset. This site provides a nice job of laying out non-cash giving options: https://www.arrow.org/give/

Recommended Planned Giving Advisors and Companies

Directed Giving Account

If you need to reduce your taxable income in a given year you can donate a lump sum to a non-profit-directed giving company. You get the initial tax benefit for the gift and then can direct how the funds are dispersed to qualified charities in the following years.

PCA Foundation does a great job at Charitable Remainder Trusts. These function similarly to the annuities but some will say they perform better than the annuity. PCAF will set up the trust, serve as trustee, and can even do asset management.

Gifts of stock

The gift date of a donation made by electronic transfer of stock is the date of transfer to the institution (the date Redemption Seminary receives the funds from the broker).

Use this form to describe the transfer so we can facilitate the transaction with our broker.
